We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience in major construction projects. You will be responsible for supporting our Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives, positively engaging with customers, and developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality cost management services and ensuring that deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Managing projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures.
- Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates and option studies.
- Cost planning and cost-in-use studies.
- Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.
- Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process.
- Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
- Settling final accounts.
- Providing technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
- Administering contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Producing and presenting reports to customers.
- Mentoring and coaching employees to their full potential.
- Managing service delivery for profit.

About YouWe are looking for a candidate with:
- Sound cost management experience in major construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian construction regulation and international standards.
- Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
- Organisational skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing environments.
- Excellent problem, negotiating, finance, and numeracy management skills.
- Sound ICT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
- Fluent English and Italian.
Qualifications:
- QS, Engineering, Architecture degree or technical qualification in a construction-related field.
