Job Title: Credit Expert

Gruppo Montenegro is an international company with an Italian heart, operating in the Spirits and Food industry. We produce and commercialize premium products with strong brand equity and significant cultural relevance.

As a Credit Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial credit granting process at Montenegro Group. This role aims to optimize GM's payment terms on sales, reduce credit losses, and minimize the write-offs of uncollectible debts by enforcing the Credit Policy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and release blocked orders.
  • Participate in the process of calculating provisions for doubtful debts.
  • Periodic reviews of credit limits and assigning credit scores for the entire customer portfolio assigned in Ho.Re.Ca & GDO.
  • Collaborate with external accounting services firm.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, both independently and accompanying sales representatives.
  • Ensure effective resolution of all disputes related to commercial credit.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Logistics departments, ensuring an efficient Order Management process.
  • Support Sales department in ensuring proper financial management of clients.
  • Assess creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in business administration or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a structured Credit Management department within the food & beverage sector.
  • Previous experience in managing large retail customers and collaborating with agents.
  • Knowledge of SAP, preferably including FI and SD modules.
  • Good understanding of general accounting.
  • English B2.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and Office Suite.
