Key Account Director

Focusing on high-value strategic accounts, you will work closely with your team to identify opportunities, map accounts, and build key stakeholder relationships to drive sales success. This is a closing role, responsible for the entire sales cycle, including revenue attributed to winning new customers.

The team comprises experienced sales professionals, each with a track record of working with strategic opportunities across the industry. As a Key Account Director, you will report directly to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the BDR team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for engagement.
  • Present Darktrace solutions and discuss cybersecurity challenges and priorities with strategic scale opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of projects (POCs) with strategic scale opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to address complex use-cases.
  • Map key accounts and develop strategic relationships with executive stakeholders (C-Level and below).

Requirements:

This position requires an individual with a proven track record of full-cycle sales success in large-scale cybersecurity deals at a strategic level. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in closing deals with large enterprise customers and the ability to leverage their existing network to develop their client base within the first 6-9 months. Excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. We are looking for someone who can hunt for new business and build rapport with senior key decision makers.
