Key Account Director

Focusing on high-value strategic accounts, you will work closely with your team to identify opportunities, map accounts, and build key stakeholder relationships to drive sales growth. This is a closing role, responsible for the entire sales cycle, including revenue attributed to winning new customers.

The team comprises experienced sales professionals, each with expertise in working with strategic opportunities across the industry. As a Key Account Director, you will report directly to the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the BDR team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
  • Present Darktrace solutions to strategic scale opportunities and discuss cyber challenges and priorities.
  • Lead the execution of projects (POCs) with strategic scale opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to address complex use-cases.
  • Map key accounts and develop strategic relationships with executive stakeholders (C-Level and below).

Requirements:

This position requires an individual with a proven track record of full-cycle sales success in large-scale cybersecurity deals at a strategic level. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in closing deals with large enterprise customers and the ability to leverage their existing network to develop their client base within the first 6-9 months. Excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. We are looking for someone who can hunt for new business and build rapport with senior key decision makers.
