Dana Graziano, a global leader in driveline technologies, is seeking a highly skilled Gear Systems Design Specialist to join its Rivoli LV Design Team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to design and develop innovative gear systems for passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment applications.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing gears and shafts, defining component geometry based on life targets, and performing analytical and FEM simulation loops to optimize designs. Additionally, they will evaluate gearsets, identify pros and cons of various solutions, and collaborate with the design team to deliver high-quality products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design gears and shafts for Dana's driveline products
  • Define component geometry based on life targets and performance requirements
  • Perform analytical and FEM simulations to optimize designs and ensure durability
  • Evaluate gearsets, assess pros and cons of different solutions, and recommend optimal configurations

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gear design, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical constructions, transmission design, and manufacturing processes
  • Proficient in CAD software, simulation tools, and programming languages (e.g., Python)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
