About the Role

We are seeking an Electrification Technology Leader to join our team This role will report to the engineering director for product line transmission systems. As a key member of our leadership team, you will lead a team of chief engineers to assure all technical development activities for various product development cycles into SOP.

You will require not only technical skills within electrified powertrain but also commercial and leadership experience to enhance the growing team within the business unit.

Main Opportunities and Challenges

You will be engaged with top automotive OEMs and acquire a 360° vision on new products development for electrified vehicles and enhance your leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities

- Ensure product development execution on whole product portfolio
- Run internal technical engineering reviews in all aspects of issue resolution
- Secure resources, support to create project budgets
- Engage in cost management strategies and strive for innovation
- Ensure product development has the support of upper management and ability to present in front of customers
- Direct and support evaluation of projects and manage/mitigate any delays
- Hire and develop new engineering staff, including training and talent management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and process improvements

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in similar roles in automotive or aerospace companies
- Experience in leading and developing accountable teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Fluent English speaking skills and willingness to travel
- Expert knowledge in Electric Drive Unit design and automotive development processes
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms
- Master's degree in engineering or MBA
- 8+ years of experience in similar roles in automotive or aerospace companies
