Position Summary

We are seeking an Electrification Materials Logistics Manager to lead our manufacturing facility's materials planning and logistics team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to address demand and capacity gaps, as well as improving logistics costs and inventory management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and improve the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for assigned plants.
  • Develop and implement customer order management processes, including time fences and premium freight reduction strategies.
  • Control and reduce logistics costs through truck utilization, cube optimization, and internal supply chain improvements.
  • Protect supply by managing escalation processes, allocating parts between plants, and ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Develop and execute corporate materials policies and processes within assigned plants.
Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 12 years' experience in materials management and logistics.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MRP, Microsoft Office Suite, and eBusiness tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
