Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around €60,000-€80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure takes into account the typical compensation package for a product category manager in Italy.

About the Role

The Assortment Planning Manager plays a critical role in shaping the commercial success of Pandora within the SEMEA cluster (Italy, Turkey, Greece, UAE, South Africa). This position involves driving strategic initiatives that align with our global vision while tailoring them to meet local market demands.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assortment Strategy: Lead the SEMEA assortment strategy across all seasonal stages, from line planning to buying and sales analysis.
  • Seasonal Planning: Utilize historical performance, in-season sales, and global strategies to create seasonal plans. Collaborate cross-functionally to finalize assortment plans and monitor financial impacts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market performance and develop strategies to improve KPIs. Serve as the main point of contact for reporting final cluster buys and coordinate revisions based on in-season insights.
  • Product Margin Management: Align with global teams to set pricing strategies and ensure delivery of margin targets for collections. Aggregate and analyze online plans to meet financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years in Merchandising, Consumer Insights, or Demand Planning.
  • Proven track record as a technical merchandise planner with international retail experience.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG industries.
Skills:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn technical applications quickly (e.g., MS Access, Hyperion, APTOS).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing large data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Fashion Merchandising.
Language:
  • Fluent in English.
