The Coronary & RDN (CRDN) divisions are integral to the CardioVascular Portfolio. Our clientele encompasses both clinical and non-clinical professionals, primarily (but not limited to) those in the realm of Interventional Cardiology. This includes Cardiologists, Theatre Managers, Specialist Nurses, Directorate Managers, and Procurement Officers.
As a Field Market Development Specialist, reporting to the District Manager for South CRDN (Coronary & Renal Denervation), your role will involve crafting, directing, and executing localized market development initiatives. In close partnership with the Sales Team, you will devise and implement strategies aimed at enhancing awareness and boosting the adoption of the Renal Denervation (RDN) product line, ensuring that a development service is provided within the designated territory to support the sales strategy.
A Typical Day
• Formulate, revise, and execute strategic market development plans.
• Create strategies and tactics to elevate awareness and adoption of the therapy among physicians, patients, and healthcare facilities.
• Provide technical support in cath labs during the initial phases of new account establishment.
• Identify key focus areas within the RDN continuum through market analysis in collaboration with essential internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop country market access strategies for all RDN growth drivers identified by PAA (Patient Access and Acceleration).
• Enhance awareness of solutions for patient conditions through focus groups, congress activities, and by assisting in the deployment of available educational and healthcare economics programs.
• Raise awareness regarding existing clinical evidence and identify gaps in clinical evidence.
• Collaborate with patient advocacy organizations.
• Partner with Health Economics, Clinical, and Marketing teams to create and launch clinical and healthcare economic evidence dissemination tools, informational materials, and procedural guides to promote the adoption of the RDN portfolio.
• Ensure the execution of commercial activities by the Sales Force.
Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales or market development within the medical devices/healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven ability to leverage marketing expertise and business acumen to achieve business objectives.
• Strong business insight and experience working effectively in a matrix organization.
• Proficient IT skills, including all Microsoft applications and adeptness in utilizing modern multimedia tools, sales systems, and daily CRM system usage.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
• Clinical experience is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to the cardiovascular sector is a plus.
