Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic CRM & Customer Analytics team located in Genoa. In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze, interpret, and translate complex business inputs and requirements into actionable insights that drive the development process of our CRM Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Data Models: Coordinate the process of developing a variety of mathematical models, including data collection, analysis, prototyping, testing, creating production systems, and developing performance metrics, focused primarily in the area of CRM and customer data.
  2. Champion Data Science: Promote data science within our business to improve our understanding of customers' propensities and preferences within the products and services we provide.
  3. Quality and Use of Data: Be responsible for the quality and use of the Data Lake and CRM customer data, working with the CRM business analyst, CRM campaign coordinator, IT and other departments to develop new data.
  4. Training and Development: Chart the course for our Customer Analytics, acting as a focal point of competences, training junior scientists, business analysts and management on use of science models and tools.
  5. Corporate Culture and Values: Promote corporate culture and values among employees, leveraging positive relationships with the company's leaders to obtain optimum results.
Requirements
  1. Relevant Experience: 5+ years of experience in developing, implementing and maintaining Machine Learning / AI models and Optimization Algorithms in complex environments.
  2. Data-Driven Mindset: Approach decision-making with a data-driven mindset, strengthened by academic backgrounds in Economics, Engineering Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  3. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of SQL and another statistical programming language (Python or R); familiarity with Azure Databricks and Power BI.
  4. Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  5. Business Acumen: Ability to connect innovations and projects to business opportunities.
  6. Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  7. Teamwork: Excellence in teamwork comes naturally, inspiring others to give their best.
