Grocery Store Associate

Festival Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Clerk I to join our team. As a Grocery Clerk I, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate inventory levels and pricing on products received and sold.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, acknowledging, and reacting to customer needs.
- Assist with unloading product from pallets and organizing the stockroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with store management and associates to maintain standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the department by sanitizing, organizing, and cleaning work areas, shelving, and sales floor as needed.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Ability to use various equipment, including power jacks, walk-behind lifts, and balers.
The Grocery Clerk I position requires the ability to stand for long periods, work in a cooler, and lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis. The position also requires functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store and create attractive displays.
