Overview of the Role and Responsibilities

The Prysmian Group R&D Division is seeking a dedicated intern to assist in our Electrical Laboratories.

This position also offers the opportunity to write a Master's Thesis.

The intern will engage in various tasks, including:

  • Assisting in the execution of both development and qualification tests while overseeing the preparation of test setups.
  • Aiding in the supervision of the installation team responsible for assembling High Voltage and Medium Voltage components.
  • Creating detailed and precise technical documentation.
  • Maintaining and updating records/databases related to conducted tests.
  • Supporting interactions with customers and inspectors, as well as assisting system design teams.
  • Working under tight deadlines and contributing to long-term R&D initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Energy, or Mechatronics;
  • Demonstrates proactivity and attention to detail;
  • Exhibits a genuine enthusiasm for testing and laboratory work;
  • Possesses excellent teamwork skills;
  • Shows flexibility, adaptability, and strong problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Italian;
