Job Title: Senior Technical Buyer

Our client, a historic company in the territory, operates in the electrical connections and industrial automation sector. We are looking for a Senior Technical Buyer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and external services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Procuring technical articles and materials (e.g., screws, fixtures, mechanical and electrical components) and raw materials (mainly copper, aluminum, and plastics)
  • Identifying and evaluating new suppliers on an international scale, managing relationships with existing suppliers, and negotiating contracts
  • Collaborating with the Technical Office to purchase specialized components
  • Coordinating with the Warehouse and Logistics Department to manage inventory and supplies
  • Working with the Quality Department to manage non-conformities with suppliers

We are seeking a highly relational person with strong integrity, honesty, and seriousness. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Economics and experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company with series and stock production.

The successful candidate will be based in Novate Milanese (MI) and will be required to travel to suppliers. The position offers a direct entry into the company with a permanent contract, and the level and classification will be discussed during the selection process.
