The Industrial Connectivity and Control team is seeking a top-notch Analog Design Engineer with extensive experience in Power and High Voltage circuit design for Industrial power and communication applications.

As an Analog Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge analog products from definition to full product release.

You will collaborate with various roles and departments, including analog and digital design, layout, testing, quality, process, and business, to drive product development.

Your high level of expertise will enable you to take ownership of complex projects and be recognized as a reference Lead Design engineer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading design teams to develop innovative products
  • Managing product feasibility and taking ownership of topology choice and product IP selection
  • Defining digital interaction and partitioning, collaborating with digital lead design
  • Coordinating with test lead all DFT choices for the products, supervising test HW/SW
  • Collaborating and driving Product Definers to the optimization of the product definition and specification based on your feasibility study, and on your experience
  • Managing product partitioning, modeling, and defining MS chip-structure to allow parallel design among analog and digital resources (AMS/DMS), and also enabling test engineer to run the ATE DMS simulation
  • Handling block/macroblock and top-level simulations (Analog/DMS/AMS)
  • Being a recognized mentor and guide for other lower-experience designers, allowing their technical growth
  • Generating all the documentation needed for the entire design flow
  • Leading lab evaluation and product debug
  • In conjunction with TE, supporting all test activities, including correlation and characterization statistical analysis with the DS/FT limits to support product intro

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum education: MSEE (5yrs)
  • More than 20yrs experience in Analog circuit design, and 8yrs or more as Lead chip design, for complex MS type of product
  • Large experience in power design technique, thermal local overeating, high current handling, current recirculation, and latchup, barrier commonly used techniques
  • Large experience in HV circuit design
  • Large experience in HV-ESD design, protection components, and design techniques
  • Experience in other industrial field-specific environmental stimulus other than HV-ESD, including Surge, EFT, Conducted immunity
  • Experience in state-of-the-art power processes, with low Vgs drive techniques (including special assembly techniques)
  • Experience in Industrial interface product design is required
  • DC-DC conversion as part of the experience flow is welcomed
  • Using state-of-the-art CAD tools for circuit development, based on Cadence platform
