As a Senior Analog Design Engineer at Analog Devices, you will be part of the Industrial Connectivity and Control team, responsible for developing leading-edge products. Your expertise in Analog circuit design, power design techniques, and high-voltage circuit design will be essential in driving the development of complex MS-type products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading design teams to develop innovative products
  • Managing product feasibility and taking ownership of topology choice and product IP selection
  • Defining digital interaction and partitioning, collaborating with digital lead design
  • Coordinating with test lead all DFT choices for the products, supervising test HW/SW
  • Collaborating and driving Product Definers to optimize product definition and specification based on feasibility studies and experience
  • Managing product partitioning, modeling, and defining MS chip-structure to enable parallel design among analog and digital resources (AMS/DMS)
  • Handling block/macroblock and top-level simulations (Analog/DMS/AMS)
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers
  • Generating documentation for the entire design flow
  • Leading lab evaluation and product debug
  • Supporting test activities, including correlation and characterization statistical analysis with DS/FT limits to support product introduction

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum education MSEE (5yrs)
  • More than 20yrs experience in Analog circuit design, and 8yrs or more as Lead chip design, for complex MS-type products
  • Large experience in power design techniques, thermal local overeating, high current handling, current recirculation, and latchup, barrier commonly used techniques
  • Large experience in HV circuit design
  • Large experience in HV-ESD design, protection components, and design techniques
  • Experience in industrial interface product design and DC-DC conversion
  • Proficiency in state-of-the-art CAD tools for circuit development, based on Cadence platform
