Cloud DevOps Engineer

Serco, a leading Space Services Provider, is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Frascati Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of cloud-based infrastructure for our space-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components, including IaaS, CaaS, PaaS/SaaS, and DBs.
- Optimization: Ensure cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software delivery and deployment processes.
- Monitoring: Monitor the health, performance, and availability of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure and data are protected by following security best practices and compliance controls.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide guidance, and deliver solutions.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document cloud infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes, and share knowledge with team members.
- Education: Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or Technical Sciences.
- Experience: Working experience with cloud infrastructure and pipeline deployment, Linux/Unix Operating System environment, and scripting.
- Skills: Knowledge of code versioning and CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, etc.), containers orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher), Agile and DevOps practices, and English language proficiency (B2 level).
