Job Description
FORVIA is a leading technology company in the sustainable mobility sector, with a strong presence in the automotive industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Leader VIE to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring the purchasing panel, managing supplier selection, and ensuring the overall productivity of the panel. They will also be accountable for building and achieving budgets for assigned commodities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure the purchasing panel and manage supplier selection according to Group criteria.
- Ensure regular follow-up of supplier performance and implement tools to achieve global budget.
- Negotiate and implement general agreements with suppliers.
- Follow price management for assigned scope with Purchasing Support Team.
- Ensure reporting of activities towards the Purchasing organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering or business.
- Results orientation with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good understanding of business practices, market dynamics, and trends.
- International mindset and overseas experience.
- Work in English with international team and basic Italian skills appreciated.
