About the Role

Job Summary:

The Operations Team Leader - Depot Manager will be responsible for the safe and effective running of our depot on a day-to-day basis. This includes analyzing and resolving any issues that may arise with our products, managing the Service Technicians and Drivers, and working closely with other team members to attend to customer queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Report accurately and on time on activities and provide relevant management information as required.
  • Manage the task management and performance of the Service Technicians and Drivers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Accountability for all engineering matters onsite regardless of discipline.
  • Interact with and motivate the workforce.
  • Keep up-to-date with necessary professional knowledge through self-study and participation in training sessions.
  • Carry out inspections of installations in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Manage local stock supplies for the geographical area, including timely ordering of necessary materials.
  • Ensure order and cleanliness at the workplace and in the service car/truck.
  • Customer liaison and communications link to other colleagues, including looking for opportunities for business development and ensuring correct and complete customer paperwork.
  • Full compliance with all H&S requirements, including use of correct PPE at all times.
  • Guarantee smooth delivery, installation, and setup of our rapid deployment CCTV security systems by the team.
  • Guarantee detecting malfunctions or technical problems, making a diagnosis, and determining the right solution, both on location and remotely by the team.
  • Guarantee application of standard solutions in case of malfunctions, but also come up with solutions in case of complex technical problems where standardized solutions are not sufficient.
  • Guarantee performing all common types of periodic maintenance by the team.
  • When not performing core functions, work with team members to support ongoing activities at the local operations hub.
