Role Overview:

Antal International Network is seeking a Resort General Manager for a luxury resort in Sardinia. As part of an Italian Hospitality Group, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-end resort and drive exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in resort operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Operations & Functional Know-How: Oversee all hotel functions, including operations, finance, sales, revenue management, and e-commerce.
  2. Leadership & People Management: Lead by example, fostering a collaborative atmosphere, mentoring department heads, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. Guest Satisfaction & Quality Assurance: Create a coordinated operating environment that guarantees consistent guest satisfaction, regularly monitoring and analyzing guest feedback.
  4. Financial Reporting: Responsible for ongoing financial analysis and periodic performance reporting to head office departments.
  5. Planning & Decision Making: Actively participate in decision-making processes, ensuring well-considered, analytical, and strategic choices.
  6. Staff Hiring & Development: Direct the recruitment, training, and development of the hotel team, ensuring motivated staff meet performance expectations.
  7. Property Management & Inspections: Conduct daily inspections, ensuring operations comply with standards, and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  8. Communication & Collaboration: Ensure open communication across departments, encouraging teamwork and collaboration, and act as a liaison with external stakeholders.
  9. Ethical Standards & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior and discretion, ensuring the resort operates in compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  10. Guest Interaction & Complaint Management: Actively engage with guests, handle complaints with urgency and professionalism, and ensure swift resolution to maintain satisfaction.
