Job Description

The Poltrona Frau Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and implementation of various company projects. He/She will coordinate internal departments, customers, and suppliers to ensure compliance with costs, times, and agreed quality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate product development teams as assigned project manager
  • Plan and monitor product development activities to achieve established objectives
  • Act as interface and contact person towards the Customer for the relevant project
  • Conduct technical-production feasibility analyzes on new products
  • Identify new potential suppliers of materials in collaboration with the Purchasing/SQE Office
  • Start pilot orders of these materials until the product/supplier is qualified
  • Manage technical changes to the project agreed with the client and coordinate related activities
  • Provide Process Quality support in managing customer complaints and reports after series production
  • Plan activities relating to transfers of production sites and monitor their progress
  • Supervise the creation of prototypes at the Modeling Shop
  • Plan, request, and monitor laboratory tests on new products

Requirements

  • Master Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role in structured and international companies
  • Fluent English
  • Origin from the automotive sector (OEM / Tier 1)
  • Knowledge of AS400/SAP applications is appreciated
