**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workforce Scheduler to join our team at IKEA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving business outcomes by translating group capacity plans into country scheduling plans.

What You Will Do

  • Define rules for scheduling and assign them to individual employees to generate schedules for coming weeks using specific algorithms to balance business and co-worker needs;
  • Sense check and validate medium and long-term capacity plans from group to adapt when relevant to local situations;
  • Integrate co-workers' input in the scheduling and publish updated schedules to ensure work/life balance and create transparency and common views;
  • Define activities and timings within a shift, including tweaks and changes to shifts based on short-term views of demand, to keep the schedule relevant despite changes in demand/capacity;
  • Translate weekly forecasts into interval patterns to reflect customer demands.

Your Qualifications

  • A high level of data/computer proficiency;
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (Spoken and Written);
  • Good knowledge of MS, particularly Excel;
  • A passion for working in a team where openness and a sharing culture is promoted;

About the Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This compensation package reflects the importance of your contribution to our team's success.
