We are seeking a highly skilled Product Management Specialist to join our team at Valmet in Lucca. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will play a crucial role in developing our products portfolio and roadmap in line with our corporate strategy and market trends.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, and worldwide customers to gather, analyze, and translate new insights and ideas into value to improve the competitiveness of our products and customer performance.
- Define new products in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Project Management, and Sales, identifying specific technical characteristics.
- Interact and collaborate with Sales teams to collect and analyze customer requests.
- Collaborate with Project Management and R&D to manage the product Roadmap and select new ideas to be implemented in the current machine park and/or in new R&D projects.
- Manage the product life cycle from the identification of market/customer needs, product launch activities (such as commercial material and training for the sales force) up to the product phase out.
- Manage new product launches by developing commercial material such as offer descriptions, brochures, presentations, videos, and more.
- Present and promote new products to the sales force by delivering training sessions and webinars.
- Define technical product modifications on existing machinery in collaboration with Project Management, R&D, Development, and Industrial Engineering, taking into account the time required and the impact on performance.
- Evaluate Product Portfolio economic value and manage the Price list, monitoring performance and results over time.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and customer needs in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Project Management teams.
- Visit customers, partners, or other stakeholders and attend national and international events.
- Masters Degree in Engineering or Economics.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Strong technical skills in managing all product lifecycle stages in manufacturing and innovation-oriented contexts.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language.
- Proficiency with MS Office and especially with MS Project.
- Team worker and collaboration facilitator.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Result-oriented.
- Customer-oriented and business-minded approach.
- Availability to travel.
