About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Conformity of Production Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team at our headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the conformity of our production processes with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Conformity of Production (CoP) test plans and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Homologation, Laboratory, and GQ Management, to ensure seamless execution of CoP tests.
- Plan and coordinate CoP tests, including vehicle and component shipment, and ensure timely completion of test results.
- Monitor and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including EU, China, USA, and other market regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, suppliers, and partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the development of test instructions and reports, and contribute to the creation of annual CoP reports.
- Manage the CoP budget, including planning, requesting, and monitoring expenses.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive homologation, conformity of production testing, or technical areas.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical reporting, requirements, components, and tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English, with German a plus.
