Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Sales Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our Business Unit High Voltage, you will be responsible for generating sales opportunities within designated areas, focusing on installed base penetration (IB).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Service Sales Manager to implement a service sales strategy, penetrating IB and promoting upgrade, retrofit, and value-added solutions to benefit customers.
  • Develop and implement sales plans, review progress, and propose recovery plans as needed.
  • Drive, implement, report, and monitor the progress of the service sales strategy, developing trends for identifying and winning new business.
  • Develop contract strategy and project proposals based on policies, customer requirements, budgets, and timescales, ensuring they meet agreed technical standards.
  • Identify, discuss, review, and negotiate contract baselines and other documents to ensure compliance and maximize financial and operational performance.
  • Document changes and amendments during contract execution, assessing and monitoring contract success and deviations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects, cooperating with technical and financial staff, legal teams, and client representatives.
  • Provide support and advice on new business opportunities, demonstrating a strong legal knowledge base and terminology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering or a similar field with a technical background.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales roles, preferably in the industrial field.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English (B2/C1 level).
  • Proactivity, resilience, customer-oriented mindset, and outstanding communication skills.
