Service Owner - ERP System

At AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Owner to lead our ERP system, specifically Dynamics 365. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our ERP system, providing expert guidance to stakeholders, and driving business value through process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Dynamics 365 CoE team, responsible for global consulting services and future implementations.
  • Oversee the D365 platform, coordinating with project delivery teams for global wave rollouts.
  • Ensure new services or service enhancements align with business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and manage new and existing services and products.
  • Deliver service roadmaps with input from Relationship Managers, EA, and other supporting teams.
  • Work with other IT teams to plan for capacity, availability, and performance requirements.
  • Hold internal and external suppliers accountable via formal agreements.
  • Represent the assigned service across the organization.
  • Define escalation and notification procedures with Relationship Manager, Incident Management team, and other supporting teams.
  • Work with Problem Management to address problems within the service.
  • Populate and maintain the Configuration Management Database for the service and its supporting Configuration Items.
  • Work with Change Manager to determine acceptable windows for changes.
  • Ensure services and products adhere to ITIL processes.
  • Deliver Quarterly Service Reviews.
  • Negotiate Service Level Agreements with business partners.
  • Negotiate Organizational Level Agreements with other IT teams.
  • Produce SLA performance metrics for assigned services.
  • Define the service and determine the costing model.
  • Maintain the Service Catalog for assigned services.
  • Continuously improve and innovate assigned services and products.
  • Understand market demands and potential competing services.
  • Create and maintain all service documentation.
  • Manage and develop direct reports.
  • Mentor IT resources.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Subject matter expertise in business and technology.
  • Skilled in conflict management.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience over 7+ years in an IT environment with significant business exposure.
  • Significant experience owning ERP systems; experience with Dynamics 365 is beneficial.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certified.
