**Job Summary**

The Metrology Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of measurements performed by Marposs products. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform coordinate measurements using high-precision instrumentation
  • Evaluate measurement results and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the Metrology Laboratory Manager to develop and implement measurement protocols
  • Train on Laboratory equipment, including CMM programming software
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of measurement techniques and instrumentation

**Requirements:**

  • High school degree in mechanics or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of technical drawing in the field of GPS (ISO) and GD&T (ASME Y14.5M)
  • Curiosity, passion, and desire to learn, with aptitude for using complex information technology tools
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a confined environment with extended hours when required
  • Experience with Leitz machines (Quindos software) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Taylor Hobson roundness and roughness gauges, elements of CREO, and Autocad, and previous experience in gear measurement or construction are additional qualifications
