We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at UC Irvine Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current California RN license.
- CPR and ACLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy while working in a dynamic environment.
