Job Title: Order Management Specialist

At HPDI Technology LP, we are seeking a highly skilled Order Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of material and products by planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring suppliers' orders and manufacturing work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules
  • Collaborate with management to support procurement, assist in commodity business plans, assess market trends, pricing, and product availability
  • Track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends
  • Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities (e.g. materials, components, equipment, and services) according to assigned KPIs
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure smooth supply chain operations
  • Conduct supplier meetings, follow up on actions, and prepare reports to monitor and upgrade supplier performance
  • Support the procurement team in change management, part parameter updates, quote table maintenance, supplier database information, error report analysis, and part number/supplier code information
  • Create and maintain bill of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
  • Ensure that Purchase Orders (POs) are created on time while proactively identifying risks and providing mitigation plans

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position
  • Strong knowledge of material requirements planning and inventory management principles
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities simultaneously
  • Domestic or global expertise of production or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, and experience in improving process is a plus
