Amplifon, a leading multinational company in hearing care solutions, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Global Data Science & Architecture Team.

About the Role

  • Collaborate on a cutting-edge program to build a next-generation global data platform, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Design and implement data pipelines using industry-leading tools, ensuring seamless data flow and analysis.
  • Optimize and evolve data infrastructure to support advanced data science initiatives, enhancing business decision-making.
  • Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the efficiency and scalability of our existing architecture, reducing costs and improving performance.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with Data Scientists, Architects, and other stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data engineering principles and industry-leading tools.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL) and Python, SQL programming languages.
  • Experience with DBT, Terraform, Liquibase, and version control systems (like Git), as well as DevOps principles and GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of main data integration methodology (APIs, CDC) and familiarity with Vertex AI.
  • Google Cloud Professional Certifications and experience with Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, and Dataiku are a plus.
