We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AdTech Publisher Acquisition Specialist to join our team at MGID. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for establishing partnerships with publishers and driving revenue growth through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish partnerships with different types of publishers and their employees to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage daily tasks, including calling potential publishers, conducting online and offline meetings, emails, HubSpot updates, and informing internally on help required to close deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and optimize results.
  • Create custom proposals for clients and publishers using our product strengths and specifics.
  • Develop and maintain close and effective relationships with both existing and potential new clients, as well as different adTech-related entities.
  • Organize working processes with clients to maximize revenue and minimize losses for the company.
  • Perform lead generation activities and use various lead generation tools like Similar Web, Red Volcano, Alexa, Public www, etc.
  • Become aware of creating a pipeline of priority websites for different client tiers.
  • Evaluate priority ad placements, rates, and formats of ads considering website layout for all tier types.
  • Create necessary documents, including presentations, financial and business proposals (approved by the team leader), commercial offer letters, and non-exclusive agreements on a revenue share basis.
  • Facilitate idea generation for new ad types and formats/features that can be interesting to the local Internet advertising market and share insights on competitor formats.
  • Represent the company during important industry events, targeting and attending conferences to sign new partners and solidify existing relationships, while supporting other partnership activities as needed.
  • Work closely with the client's team to ensure successful Adcode and tech implementation together with the Account Manager.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in publisher acquisition and development.
  • Ability to ideate and innovate Publisher Acquisition strategies and adaptability to market dynamics.
  • Business development experience with a strong network within the native and publisher industry.
  • Knowledge of various monetization opportunities for publishers, revenue models, market understanding, competition mapping, Native Advertising Technology, and its possibilities and limitations.
  • Experience with Native Players is an added benefit.
  • Experience working with publishers, content websites, media groups, app developers, tech companies, and networks from Italy.
  • Strong understanding of revenue generation strategies/action plans from the technology partner/vendor side.
  • Knowledge of dedicated approaches on how to work with clients from appropriate categories and traffic sources.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Experience with AdTech/MarTech.
  • Prior experience with well-known native platforms, ad-serving platforms, Publisher alliances, and programmatic monetization.
  • Knowledge and experience with analytics platforms and tools.
