Job Description

Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary:

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the operative projects of Maire Group by addressing their financial aspects. This includes contributing to financial solutions at project level, such as cash-in from clients, invoicing, discounting of active invoicing, analysis of payments to vendors/subcontractors, and identification of supply chain finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial analysis on projects and organize regular meetings with project teams.
  • Manage and address project cash needs.
  • Monitor actual financial flows of the Group and coordinate with Corporate Treasury on daily cash availability.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial planning tools to enhance systemic monitoring of project financial performance.
  • Coordinate follow-up actions on hedging maturities and roll over/delivery decisions.
  • Support the Trade Finance function in implementing working capital actions for both active and passive cycles.
  • Participate in the elaboration of the Cash Flow Budget of Maire Tecnimont Group and the yearly elaboration of the Industrial Plan Cash Flow of Maire Tecnimont Group.
  • Conduct variance analysis of projects' cash flow and working capital analysis with a focus on forecast.
  • Elaborate what-if and scenarios' analysis on the Net Financial Position evolution of the Group.
  • Support the function in preparing reports and analysis on gross debt structure and level of cash available.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an economical/financial discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational and complex business context.
  • Analytical approach and high flexibility.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP tools (FI-CO).
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.
