Clinical Sales Consultant – Wound Closure – Italy
As part of an expansion initiative across Europe, IQVIA is seeking several field-based sales professionals in Italy to represent a prestigious global organization known for its pioneering advancements in the pharmaceutical, consumer health, and medical device industries. The available territories include:
- Emilia Romagna (preferably based in Bologna)
- Piemonte (preferably based in Torino)
- Veneto (preferably based in Padova)
- Lombardia (preferably based in Milan)
- Toscana (preferably based in Florence)
In these newly established positions, you will be responsible for enhancing the adoption of an innovative line of sutures, with a particular emphasis on orthopedic procedures such as hip and knee joint replacement surgeries. Your role will involve assisting surgeons and the broader surgical team in understanding the advantages of this new technology compared to existing methods, tailored to their specific requirements. Collaborating within a cohesive territory team, you will conduct in-person product demonstrations and facilitate suture trials within targeted hospital accounts, leveraging both self-generated leads and those provided by the company's Inside Sales team. Additionally, you will engage in various activities to ensure comprehensive success within hospitals, including sharing customer insights, managing administrative tender processes, overseeing inventory, and addressing any challenges that arise.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in a clinical sales or support role within the operating room environment in Italy
- Familiarity with orthopedic procedures and established relationships in the field would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of the local healthcare landscape
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a determined, goal-oriented, and self-driven approach
- Nursing qualification or a university degree (or equivalent) in healthcare, marketing, or a related field
- Eligibility to work full-time in Italy
- Proficiency in the local language and English is essential (as training will be conducted in English)
- Valid EU driving license and willingness to travel within the designated region as needed
