About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team in Europe. As a critical member of our new product deployment projects, you will travel to advanced factories worldwide, working in multicultural teams to meet project commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold pre-installation meetings with customers to scope unique requirements and create a plan of action to measure and satisfy customer needs.
- Install tools at customer sites to meet KLA specifications, through system testing according to procedures.
- Solve complex system issues in a timely manner using abstract thought, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Manage critical issues across customers and regions.
- Meet with customers to facilitate verification of tool performance and ensure proper functioning.
- Manage customer satisfaction through regular meetings and updates.
- Perform install/customer-focused application testing to approve operational quality of tools.
- Provide new product installation training to worldwide customer support engineering.

Minimum Qualifications
- Technical degree or diploma in engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of semiconductor industry work experience is a bonus.
- Panel of competencies in optical, mechanic, electronic, lithography, metrology, and laser technology is desirable.
- Good technical and analytical skills, ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronic, optic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electro-optical systems.
- Knowledge of computer theory and operating systems, such as MS Windows.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Available to travel internationally.
