About the Role

The Technology, Media and Healthcare sector team at ING Wholesale Banking is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing our relationships with clients in the dynamic Technology, Media and Healthcare sectors, origination, structuring and execution of transformational financial solutions, and working closely with product teams in ING to originate and increase ING wallet share.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the Technology, Media and Healthcare sectors.
  • Origination, structuring and execution of transformational financial solutions for clients.
  • Working closely with product teams in ING to originate and increase ING wallet share.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial models, credit analyses, rating profiles and peer group analysis.
  • Negotiating transaction documentation with clients.
  • Active involvement in the syndication or coordination of transactions.
  • Guiding, training and supervising junior team members.
  • Monitoring portfolio management activities such as processing of credit reviews, waivers, and amendments.
  • Ensuring relevant client reporting, holding credit, operational and compliance risks at the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Ambitious professional with a Master's degree with above-average academic grades.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the financial sector in an international environment.
  • Sector experience, with a grounded understanding (and preferably client experience) within Technology, Media and Healthcare.
  • Relationship-driven, people-oriented, capable to make connections, good in internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Commercial drive, ability to find out the preferences and needs of the client, solution focused.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong team player.
  • High level of drive, self-motivation and professional approach.
  • Strong project, time management & deal execution skills.
  • Preferably excellent financial, modelling & analytical skills, eye for detail.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written. Fluency in Italian will be considered a plus.
