About the Role

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our Project Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing system or subsystems architecture, defining and allocating requirements, evaluating design trade-offs, and balancing technical risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system documents, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Apply system engineering processes to ensure technical consistency and alignment with Project Engineering teams.
  • Ensure that the system technically fulfils the defined needs and enhancements, and that a proper system engineering approach is being followed.
  • Minimize system deployment cost, lead time, and risks.
  • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of system baselines, analyze and implement change requests.
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews.
  • Contribute to system configuration activities, requirement management activities, and data preparation for ERTMS and SCMT/SSC systems.
  • Ensure that the system follows standardization approach by reusing existing solutions or implementing reusable solutions.
  • Provide support to projects external stakeholders and participate in QCD estimation.
  • Understand and apply TIS system development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
