About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. as a Technical Expert. This role will focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their electrical equipment is functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technical tasks, identify electrical problems, and analyze solutions through remote or on-site activities.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer orders and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials, parts, and equipment for service activities, ensuring quality and availability.
  • Prepare and submit reports to customers, documenting work completed and following up as necessary.
  • Proactively identify potential equipment failures and recommend proactive corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide recommendations to prevent future issues.
  • Identify opportunities for product and quality improvement, communicating suggestions to the HITACHI ENERGY organization.
  • Provide recommendations to management to enhance operations and customer service.
  • Adhere to safety rules, safe practices, and environmental responsibilities.
  • Report unsafe practices and incidents.

Requirements

  • Electrotechnical diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and high-tension equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian languages.
  • Ability to travel within Italy.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
