About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Frontend Developer to join our team at Planetek Italia SRL. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge web applications that support space missions, satellite systems, and data analysis in the space domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Design Team: Work closely with our design team to translate UX and UI designs into responsive web interfaces that meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
  • Develop Web Applications: Utilize modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js to develop web applications that are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
  • Implement Web Standards: Ensure that all web applications are built using web standards and best practices, including HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Optimize Web Performance: Apply techniques such as code minification, lazy loading, and image optimization to ensure that web applications load quickly and efficiently.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure that web applications are compatible with multiple browsers and devices, including desktop and mobile devices.
  • Work with APIs: Utilize Restful or GraphQL APIs to fetch and display data in web applications.
  • Collaborate with Designers: Work with designers to implement designs accurately and effectively.
  • Apply Material Design Principles: Apply Material Design principles to create visually appealing and consistent user interfaces.
  • Develop Responsive Designs: Develop responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices.
  • Conduct Thorough Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Ensure Security: Ensure the security of web applications by following best practices and implementing necessary security measures.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English and Italian.
Additional Skills
  • Familiarity with Server Environments: Familiarity with server environments and backend technologies.
  • Experience with Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management systems and version control, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of Agile Development: Knowledge of Agile development practices and working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Package Managers: Proficiency in package managers such as npm and yarn for managing dependencies.
  • Basic Understanding of Graphic Design: Basic understanding of graphic design software to collaborate effectively with designers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Frontend Frameworks: Experience with at least one modern frontend framework like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with Restful or GraphQL APIs: Familiarity with Restful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid Understanding of Web Standards: Solid understanding of web standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Figma or Design Collaboration Tools: Experience with Figma or other design collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of Responsive Design Principles: Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
