Position Overview:

The Spare Parts Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring optimal service levels in the distribution of spare parts, whether produced in-house or sourced externally. This role involves overseeing the logistics of spare parts shipments, guaranteeing adherence to specified quantities and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops strategic objectives and plans for market expansion by analyzing sales data and performance metrics.
  • Prepares the annual sales forecast for spare parts, reviews current year sales outcomes, and implements corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensures achievement of sales and profit margin goals.
  • Manages customer relationships throughout the equipment lifecycle, consistently monitoring satisfaction levels through regular engagement.
  • Identifies and pursues new customer opportunities through various channels, implementing promotional strategies for potential clients and incentive programs for existing ones.
  • Conducts regular assessments of turnover and margin status, tracking the effectiveness of commercial initiatives in collaboration with international branches.
  • Establishes and reviews pricing strategies for spare parts, approving any necessary deviations.
  • Oversees the preparation of spare parts orders, verifying material availability and coordinating with warehouse staff.
  • Evaluates quotation requests, determining the issuance of purchase, production, and packaging orders, while forecasting shipping dates and communicating with customers.
  • Assists in production planning related to spare parts, providing insights based on historical data and trends.
  • Manages material procurement through ERP systems, ensuring accurate picking lists and maintaining minimum stock levels.
  • Verifies the accuracy of data concerning minimum stock levels and economic order quantities, making adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinates warehouse inventory management, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to inventory protocols.
  • Ensures compliance with safety procedures among team members.
  • Directs and manages assigned personnel, establishing work plans and fostering team development.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in management, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
  • Prior experience in service or spare parts management within manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier relationship management.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
