Position Overview:
The Spare Parts Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the required service levels for spare parts supply, whether produced in-house or sourced externally. This position involves overseeing the logistics of spare parts shipments, ensuring adherence to specified quantities and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops strategic objectives and plans for market expansion by analyzing sales data and performance metrics.
- Prepares the annual sales budget for spare parts, evaluates current year sales outcomes, and implements corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensures the achievement of sales and profit margin goals.
- Manages customer relationships throughout the equipment lifecycle, consistently assessing customer satisfaction through regular engagement.
- Identifies and pursues new customer opportunities through various channels, while also implementing promotional initiatives for existing clients.
- Conducts regular assessments of sales performance and commercial initiatives, collaborating with international branches.
- Establishes and reviews pricing strategies for spare parts, authorizing any necessary adjustments.
- Coordinates the preparation of spare parts orders, verifying material availability and communicating with warehouse staff.
- Analyzes requests for quotations, determining the issuance of purchase and production orders, while forecasting shipping dates and informing customers.
- Assists in production planning for the spare parts sector, providing insights based on historical data and trends.
- Oversees material procurement using ERP systems, ensuring minimum stock levels are maintained through careful analysis.
- Validates the accuracy of data regarding minimum stock levels and economic order quantities, making adjustments as needed.
- Manages inventory accounting for the warehouse, coordinating material inflows and maintaining accurate stock levels in the spare parts department.
- Ensures compliance with safety protocols among departmental staff.
- Leads and manages the assigned team, establishing work plans and fostering professional development.
Qualifications:
- Degree in management, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
- Prior experience in service or spare parts management within manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier management.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
