We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Sustainability Consultant to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our EHS team, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in achieving their sustainability goals and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement EHS Strategies: Support the design and implementation of corporate EHS strategies and programs, including diagnostics, compliance, and technical audits, awareness raising, training programs, and hazard and risk identification and assessment.
- Support H&S Training and Field Coaching: Assist in the design and implementation of activities related to H&S training and field coaching, including competency assessment, training programs for behavioral change, human factor analysis, and assessment.
- Drive Operational Performance Improvement: Support the design and implementation of HSE and Sustainability governance processes aimed at driving operational performance improvement, including deployment of risk and opportunities assessment, development of management systems, planning and delivery of auditing activities, and design and delivery of training programs.
- Lead Sustainability Activities: Support specific sustainability activities, such as Low Carbon Economy Transition projects, Carbon neutrality and climate change projects, Life-Cycle Assessments, and circular economy initiatives.
- Substantial EHS Experience: Possess substantial, relevant experience across HSE and sustainability disciplines as a consultant or in industry.
- Advanced Education: Hold a Master's degree in environmental/Safety Engineering, Environmental/Natural resources Management, or other relevant disciplines.
- Language Skills: Possess working knowledge of English (C1) and knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred French).
- Knowledge of HSE Legislation: Have good knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and international HSE & Sustainability Guidelines/Standards (e.g. SDGs, TCFD, ISO 14001, ISO45001, ISO 50001, ISO 26000, SA8000).
