About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Coordinator to join our team at ThyssenKrupp Presta AG. As an Engineering Coordinator for Equipment and Machinery, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Management Department and the Procurement and Supply Management Department to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Engineering Activities: Plan and coordinate all related engineering activities, including meetings, reporting, and milestones.
  • Documentation Supervision: Supervise and approve project documentation, including equipment and machinery design.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure that quotation requests to vendors and external engineering resources are compliant with internal rules.
  • Technical Evaluation: Supervise and approve technical evaluation of quotations for mechanical equipment.
  • Inspections and Site Activities: Coordinate inspections on mechanical equipment at vendors' workshops and participate in site activities.
  • Business Travel: Be available for business travel worldwide to attend technical meetings with clients, site activities, and plant surveys.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in engineering companies operating in the field of industrial plant design.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in coordinating equipment and/or machinery teams, both internal and external resources.
  • Planning and Coordination: Experience in planning and following up resources and activities on short-term and mid-term time horizons.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of main IT tools (Word, Excel) and AUTOCAD.
  • Language Skills: Good spoken and written knowledge of English.
  • Travel: Availability to travel worldwide for technical meetings, site activities, and plant surveys.
