We are currently seeking a Plant & Equipment Management Engineer to join our Asset & Material Management team at our headquarters. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in production and manufacturing, focusing on optimizing plant and equipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the central Asset Management unit in the following areas:

  • Assisting in the bid and new initiative study phases, including organizing the Plant & Equipment facilities and optimizing machinery for project execution;
  • Supporting the project start-up phase and implementing the Plant & Equipment structure along with Group processes and methodologies;
  • Overseeing the entire project life cycle, including the development and verification of plant and machinery budgets, and exploring optimization opportunities through internal synergies;
  • Conducting analysis and developing aggregate reporting on plant and machinery data to inform the Group's strategic fleet plan;
  • Facilitating project closure activities, ensuring the effective reuse of plant and machinery across business units, and managing demobilization and transfer processes;
  • Leading cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing and innovating asset management practices on a global scale.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within production and manufacturing environments, with a focus on optimization and efficiency projects;
  • Familiarity with technologies, products, and processes related to plant and machinery, including acquisition, commissioning, maintenance, and cost management;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
  • Knowledge of major analysis and planning tools;
  • Fluent in Italian and English; proficiency in a second foreign language (French or Spanish) is advantageous;
  • Willingness to travel internationally;
  • Strong analytical, planning, budgeting, and cost monitoring skills;
  • Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities;
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
