Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Long Term Planning Specialist to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for planning and controlling quantities for assigned logistic processes based in Italy and Greece, inventories and stocks, to ensure a 100% availability of all input factors and contribute to superior logistic process quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Project Maintenance Schedule (Planning of Scheduled Activities (blade inspections, oil changes, safety, equipment inspections, MDs, CTs, SETs, etc.).
  • Resource management and cost optimization with detecting potential improvements.
  • Blade campaigns planning.
  • Supporting to Service Operational Manager to provide transparency on the project status.
  • Planning compliance reporting.
  • Internal/external resource availability planning.
  • Regular briefing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and operational activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills and an enhanced experience.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through strong leadership, and effective team management using varied resources across multiple geographical, departmental and organizations.
  • Be self-motivated, able to think quickly, multi-task and address problems as they arise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with fluency in English and Italian language.
  • No barrier to drive (Class-B license).
  • Proficiency in MS office 365 programs (SharePoint, Lists, Power Automate, Power BI etc..).
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and technical drawings in English.
  • SAP Planning knowledge.
  • Travel required: up to 15%.
