About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team in Central Italy. As a key member of our regional technical service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our products and solutions in the assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to customers to ensure their satisfaction with our products and solutions.
  • Maintain contracts with clients and attend appointments for corrective interventions.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the installed base in the assigned geographic area.
  • Carry out installations, guarantees, and repair actions.
  • Report data on the quality situation of installations to the head office.
  • Maintain the quality of installations and detect errors.
  • Keep physicians informed about the proper functioning of laboratory facilities.
  • Provide basic technical training after installation.
  • Support sales and marketing teams in congresses, exhibitions, and workshops.
  • Optimize net sales within the territorial scope in cooperation with sales representatives.
  • Complete and record installation and maintenance reports.
  • Manage packaging waste generated in the fieldwork in an appropriate way.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent in engineering or biosciences.
  • Advanced certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Technical knowledge of electronic equipment (preferably IVD).
  • Knowledge as a user of PC tools and software applications.
  • Fluent Italian and English language skills.
  • General professional experience in the IVD industry.
  • Knowledge of electronic equipment compliance with SOPs and WIs.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work under stressful situations.
  • Professional experience for the position: 3-5 years of experience managing technical teams in the IVD industry, including direct customer contact.
