About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager Public Sales — Centre to join our team at Sysmex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving commercial success in the Centre region of Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Pre-Sales and Customer Engagement Activities: Develop and execute account strategies to drive Sysmex business growth in the assigned territory.
  • Responsible for Sales Objectives and Key Commercial Metrics: Achieve sales objectives and key commercial metrics at both account and territory levels.
  • Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Identify and analyze key market trends and changes in purchasing behavior to improve forecast accuracy and optimize resource planning.
  • Forecasting and Sales Update: Provide accurate forecasting and regular sales updates, ensuring effective budget ROI.
  • Business Planning and Strategy Development: Gain valuable insights on market, competition, and customer evolution to support business planning, refine marketing strategies, and define long-term goals.
  • Account Planning and Engagement: Create account plans to drive commercial success and long-term engagement with key stakeholders, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the account and healthcare ecosystem.
  • Sales Opportunity Identification and Solution Development: Identify sales opportunities and develop tailored solutions with marketing, application, and service teams.
  • Tender Process Coordination: Own the tender process, coordinating all resources involved in tender preparation and offering.
  • Strategic Selling Methodologies: Apply strategic selling methodologies to identify decision-makers, understand needs, and articulate the value of Sysmex solutions for each stakeholder.
  • Internal Relationship Management: Maintain effective internal relationships by engaging with relevant individuals and functions, mobilizing the right resources to drive commercial success.
  • Sales Process Tracking: Track the sales process and activities by maintaining updated information on the CRM system, including pipeline progress, areas of risk and opportunity, and follow-up of action plans.
Requirements
  • Medical Sciences Degree or Equivalent
  • Business Management Qualification (Plus)
  • Fluent English
  • Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • At Least 5 Years of Experience in IVD Industry on Sales and Marketing Functions
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills, Including Making Impactful Presentations
  • Negotiation and Tender Management
  • Problem-Solving Skills
