About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled KYC Compliance Analyst to join our team at Corpay. As a KYC Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our customer onboarding process and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for new and existing clients, including periodic and trigger event reviews.
  • Perform due diligence on clients, including obtaining corporate records and verifying information through public sources and third-party vendors.
  • Verify KYC documentation and perform risk assessments to identify potential red flags.
  • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanctions-linked customers.
  • Assess complex business structures, such as NGOs, special purpose vehicles, foundations, and funds.
  • Evaluate negative media screening and measure associated risks.
  • Participate in project work and contribute to the development of internal processes, guidance, and procedures.
  • Manage exceptions and ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
  • Identify client-related trends, typologies, and issues associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, and other suspicious transactions.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance/KYC with a clear understanding of AML/CTF regulations, requirements, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with other departments.
  • Ability to identify trends and inconsistencies, including interpreting alerts, assessing risk scores, and entity types.
  • Strong writing, research, and investigation skills; capability to document relevant information clearly, structured, and comprehensively.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Italian (written and oral); any other language, such as French or Portuguese, is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work as a strong team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
