About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Bystronic Laser Ag. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with regional customers and continuously assessing their needs for new equipment, software, and education.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new prospects to grow business
  • Drive machine sales process from identification stage to final order
  • Prepare and execute machine demonstrations
  • Provide fact-based support for local area sales budget
  • Ensure high activity level, including customer visits, prospect contacts, and customer demos
  • Proactively communicate development and changes in market, competitor activities, and customer preferences

Requirements

  • True professional with strong drive and passion for sales
  • Basic business acumen and finance skills
  • Competitive and determined to succeed
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 80% of the time within the region
  • English language skills in addition to local language
  • Task project management skills and basic PC skills
