RINA is seeking a Junior Project Manager in Chemistry to support its initiatives within the Energy Innovation Division.

Role Overview

This position emphasizes the management of international research and development projects, concentrating on Sustainable Fuels, Renewable Resources, Bioremediation, and Green Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be integrated into the Energy Transition Strategic Centre, primarily involved in R&D projects and innovative endeavors. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing EU R&D projects related to chemistry in the energy sector, including renewable energy integration, biomass valorization, Alternative Biofuels, Synthetic Fuels, decarbonization, and energy transition.
  • Crafting and managing EU R&D proposals in the chemistry domain relevant to energy applications.
  • Building and maintaining a network of international partners for EU projects.
  • Contributing to RINA's technical development activities within EU-funded projects while collaborating with global partners.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and outcomes for European research and innovation initiatives.
  • Aiding in the identification of new opportunities and the formulation of proposals for European and international R&D programs.

Additionally, the role involves enhancing RINA's network of R&D collaborators in Sustainable Fuels, Renewable Resources, Bioremediation, and Green Chemistry.
