Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Economist to join our team. As a Senior Economist, you will play a key role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights and economic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain econometric models to analyze large data sets and inform business strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address key business problems.
• Design and implement automated systems to optimize business processes.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements:

• PhD in economics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant research experience.
• Advanced expertise in observational causal inference methods.
• Strong background in statistics methodology and big data applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong research track record and effective communication skills.
