Job Summary

The Technical Business Manager support will play a key role in supporting the business management team with commercial clients to improve client service and satisfaction in the overall best interest of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business management team with commercial clients to improve client service and satisfaction.
  • Prepare slides and meeting materials, escort clients, manage change control and systems, prepare quotes, and perform other support activities as requested.
  • Support with back office activities.
  • Support to meet revenue targets and ensure contractual compliance in specific tasks assigned.
  • Support to identify the best solution for clients.
  • Ensure cGMP is applied in the work area and understand emergency procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Align with all EHS requirements and observe safety behavior in the working environment.
  • Relate with all company functions internally and with existing clients externally.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: University Degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, and/or Business required.
  • Technical skills: Solid understanding of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) required.
  • Professional experiences: Preferably 6 months to 1 year experience in project management, account management, sales, or marketing with internal or external client-facing responsibilities.
  • Languages: Work proficient in Italian and English.
  • Personality skills: Good analytical thinking and business-oriented.
  • Good capability to build and maintain relationships internally and with customers.
  • Good team worker, but also capable of working autonomously and with a proactive approach.
